Privacy Policy

Last updated 23 October 2026

Unhinged Arcade is built so your camera never leaves your device. This policy explains exactly what that means, the small amount of data we do handle, and what you can do about it. Unhinged Arcade is run by the Unhinged Arcade team ("we", "us").

1. Your camera

2. What we collect when you submit a score

Scores are only sent when you play in camera mode and choose a nickname. A submission contains:

Nicknames and scores are public on the leaderboards. Daily leaderboards expire after 2 days. The all-time leaderboard keeps the best 1,000 scores per game, and the details of each run are deleted after about 400 days.

3. Technical data

4. Data stored on your device

We use your browser's local storage (not cookies) to remember your sound and controls settings, whether you've seen the welcome message, your nickname, your personal bests, and your calibration numbers (for example your left/right movement range or your neutral-face averages; numbers, never images). This stays on your device. Only the nickname is ever sent, and only when you submit a score. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

5. Cookies, analytics and ads

We don't set cookies and we don't use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.

6. Third-party services

These providers may process data in countries other than yours.

7. Sharing your score

The Share button uses your device's share menu or copies a link. That link contains your score and nickname, so anyone you send it to can see them.

8. Children

Unhinged Arcade is not directed at children under 13. Younger players should play with a parent or guardian, in keyboard mode or without submitting scores.

9. Your choices and rights

10. Changes

If we change how Unhinged Arcade handles data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. See also our Terms of Service.
